Airbnb’s response to Trump’s Travel Ban, June 2018

In June 2018, the Supreme Court upheld President Turmp’s Travel Ban, which suspended the assignment of visas to applicants from the Muslim-majority nations of Libya, Iran, Somalia, Syria and Yemen. In response, Airbnb released the following film just one day after the Supreme Court’s decision. The message, which powerfully opposed Trump’s will to close the US border, stood for progression, acceptance, and traveling forward.
